Besides research and teaching at university, I also offer coaching and consulting sevices for industry, media and politics. This comprises for instance:

• talks
• tailored single- or multi-day courses (online or on-site) on general AI, deep learning or generative models ranging from an introduction to an advanced level
• expert advisory opinions
• reports, surveys and reviews in both, German or English.

I enjoy interdisciplinary knowledge transfer and have plenty of experience in breaking down complex matters to a level that is tailored to the respective audience. Below are a few examples.

• The report “Urheberrecht und Training generativer KI-Modelle: Technologische und juristische Grundlagen” (Nomos, 2024) written together with Tim W. Dornis features a comprehensive description of the technical foundations of generative models specifically written for laymen. It is available as open access book from Nomos. A video covering the most important findings recorded at the 2nd Initiative Urheberrecht Österreich Conference in Vienna on November 14, 2024 is available on youtube.
