science communication
AI technology will profoundly change our society. Like any technology, it can be used for the common good or to damage society. The key to positive development is cooperation between humans and AI as partners rather than competitors. Instead of replacing humans — especially in activities that rely on interpersonal interaction — AI should expand and complement our human capabilities, improve our quality of life, and help us overcome barriers and solve problems. As a researcher in the field of AI, I therefore see it as my responsibility to inform the general public about AI technology and to point out the risks and opportunities so that we, as a society, can work together to create the right conditions and incentives for positive development. That is why I have been involved in science communication for several years.
